According to Xinhua News Agency, data released by the German Federal Statistics Office on the 17th showed that in the third quarter of this year, Germany's power generation decreased significantly compared with the same period last year, of which coal power generation continued to drop significantly.

Data show that in the third quarter of this year, Germany's total power generation was 120 billion kWh, a decrease of 12.8% over the same period last year. Among them, coal power generation decreased by 37% year-on-year to 34 billion kWh, and wind and photovoltaic power generation totaled 36 billion kWh.

In the first and second quarters of this year, German coal power generation decreased by 20% and 24% year-on-year, respectively.
